Bloom Copper Bracelet

Some things you put on and immediately feel different. I made this piece for the days when your joints have been reminding you they're there - the flowers are hand-engraved one petal at a time, the vine traced slowly around the full band with the same tool I've used for thirty years. 

Copper has been worn against the skin for thousands of years by people who needed their bodies to keep moving, and the ones who come back to me always say the same thing: they stopped noticing what they used to notice in their wrists.

This is one of the last bracelets I'll make before I close my workshop for good. I hope it finds the wrist that needs it most.
