Cedar Copper Necklace

There’s a steadiness to cedar the way it holds its ground through every season. That’s what I thought of when I was forming this piece, link by link, each one pressed and fitted by hand until the whole thing moved like something alive.

The chain is built from interlocking X-links, each one shaped and set individually, so it drapes with a weight that feels intentional against the skin. Forty years of working copper taught me that the best pieces don’t announce themselves they settle in.

People who wear copper close to the body at the throat, against the chest often tell me something shifts. I don’t make promises about that. I just know copper has been worn this way for a very long time.

This one is for the person who wants something real resting at their collarbone. Not decorative. Grounded.
