Haze Copper Necklace

There’s a quality to the light just before the day settles soft, suspended, everything held in a quiet, warm blur. This piece carries that feeling. I reach for it when I want something close to the body that doesn’t announce itself, just rests there.

Each link in this chain is set by hand smooth copper alternating with a finer mesh-textured link. The contrast is subtle, only visible up close, the way most good things are. The whole piece moves as one when worn, like it was always there.

Copper worn close to the skin is something people have come back to for a long time across centuries, across cultures. I don’t claim to know exactly why. I just know the people who wear it tend to keep wearing it.
