Mire Copper Bracelet

There is a stillness to this piece three strands pulled into one, the way still water holds everything beneath it without letting go.

I wove each strand by hand, crossing rose copper, warm gold, and pale silver-cream through a herringbone pattern I've been refining for thirty years.

People who wear braided copper tend to keep it on. I've heard that more times than I can count.
This one took longer than most. I made it to last.
