I made this cuff by pressing a woven rope pattern into raw copper by hand, each pass of the tool deepening the texture until it felt right beneath my fingers.

People who wear copper tend to reach for it every morning without thinking about it — I've watched that happen for forty years, and I've stopped trying to explain it.
